Volunteer

Sheep

Do ewe love walking up Putney Mountain in the summer? Volunteers are needed from June to September to help tend to the sheep on the Putney Mountain summit!

This will be the seventh summer of our grazing program using sheep to help control the spread of invasive glossy buckthorn. We need volunteers to walk to the summit daily giving the sheep water and grain. Help will also occasionally be needed to move fencing. Some volunteer one day a week, some less often. We make a schedule to serve both volunteers and sheep!

If interested, please contact
Kai George.
