DESCRIPTION:On Saturday September 16 from 10:00 to 2:00 long time Putney Mt. Hawkwatcher John Anderson will give an introduction to hawkwatching. Those interested can join John in the Putney Mt. Summit clearing for this event. While not absolutely necessary\, binoculars are highly recommended. Participants should also bring food\, water and sunscreen. \nFind your way to the Putney Mt. Summit clearing\, introduce yourself to John and wait patiently for what we hope will be great broad-winged hawk flight. Historically the 16th has been our peak day! \nIn case of rain John will be on the mountain Sunday to answer your questions.
